Giving

We believe that giving to those in need is an integral part of the work we do. Will you join us?

Currently, we support two organizations: All Truckers Together Against Child Abuse and Compassion International. Click to learn more about each and support our efforts to alleviate child poverty and abuse, both in the United States and around the world.

As a company, we have a goal of helping at least 10,000 children receive education and food resources to create a better life for themselves and their communities. Philanthropy and volunteering are cornerstones of Trucking Tower’s mission to make a positive impact in this world.

Andy Hedrick and his family have been involved in food and educational support since 2006 both in the US and abroad. Andy has led fundraising efforts, provided project management, and provided resources in 7 countries so far with a goal of having a broader impact.

In 2019, Andy and his wife Julie were very fortunate to join Compassion International on a vision trip to Ecuador and have seen first-hand the enormous impacts that can be made by coming alongside Compassion International. In 2021, they were able to fund the opening of a Child Development Center in Ghana supporting over 200 children.  That was the dream of a lifetime.

There are many people in desperate need of food and education resources around the world and together we can help create a better life for others. Thank you for helping to make a positive difference in this world!

Make a Difference With A.T.T.A.C.A.

We are also proud to support All Truckers Together Against Child Abuse (A.T.T.A.C.A.).  This non-profit organization exists for the mission of raising awareness to protect America’s children. A report of child abuse is made every 10 seconds in the United States. Every year more than 3.6 million referrals are made to child protection agencies, involving more than 6.6 million children. Approximately five children per day die from abuse and neglect.

Data provided by National KIDS COUNT shows that 18% of children in the U.S. suffer from physical abuse, while a staggering 9% suffer sexual abuse. And, these are just the reported cases.

“Rodney Timms is one of my heroes, and his leadership at A.T.T.A.C.A. has been heroic and impactful. Children in this world are safer because of Rodney’s determination and the vigilance of this noble organization.” – Mike Hunter, Oklahoma State Attorney General

By bringing awareness to this issue, we hope to empower children, spouses, teachers, neighbors or anyone in contact with a child they suspect is suffering abuse, to know the signs, and be willing to report the abuse in order to save children’s lives.
